School is out for 3 weeks :-D

Wow....these past 2 days have been crazy. Yesterday was awesome...I went and hung out, which was a bunch of fun. I got home at 10 and ended up going to sleep around 11.

Today on the other hand...

Was crazy in a not good way. So I get up at 5:45 because I went to run the Jingle Bell Run in Hilton Head. So me and dad left at 6:30. Getting to Hilton Head was fine, we got there around 7:15. Packet pickup started at 8. Once we got to Hilton Head, however, we had to find where we were supposed to go. The address I had printed out on MapQuest was wrong. So it's like noone knew where were supposed to go. We stopped at several gas stations and drove around FOREVER. I was so discouraged, because I was going to be pissed if I came all that way, and mom spent the money on the race, and I didn't get to run. Finally it was 8:45 and dad stops at this gas station and the person pointed us in the right direction, we were about 10 minutes away from where the race was, the race started at 9. So we get there right as the runners were walking up to the start line. By the time we got out of the car(which we had been sitting in for just over 2 hours), the race had just started, we went to get our numbers and shirts and we ended up starting the race like 4 or 5 minutes into it. And since we weren't in it for the times it didn't really matter, but it was still annoying. I had no time to stretch or warm up or anything. The course was really pretty, so that was good. So the race ends and then we finally leave. We are going down the freeway and then all of a sudden on dads car an alert shows up on the dash that says something like "check cooling tempreture" (referring to the thing on the car that shows engine temp, where the needle should be straight up)...dad looked at it and saw it had gone up a little. Then...it kept going up more, so we pulled over. Dad looked under the hood and the tube had come off that holds the water for the radiator so all the water had drained out and there was no way to cool the engine. We were like .3 miles from an exit so we just tried to make it there, constantly having to turn the car off and let it just coast. We get to the exit and there is no gas station or anything, it's just some random exit in this tiny town. We somehow made it to a place to stop, constatly turning off the car when the heedle would skyrocket up to the red area. Dad was able to fill the thing back up with water, and after about 30 minutes we left. We stopped about 20 miles later to check it at a gas station and refilled it and it made this sizzling noise. Then we got home, about 40 miles later, and it was still sizziling.

Yeah, so today has for the most part sucked, even though the run was pretty. I am soooo tired, and I'm not sure if I'm doing anything later because dad had to take my phone into Altell because it keeps messing up...and they wouldn't do anything about it because at the time he was in Altell it wasn't messing up >:o, aghh. He just needs to get home now, argh....

Ahhh all my stuff that I ordered from Aeropostale came in today :-D, scoreee! That made me happy!
