me-hey daddy, did you call earlier?
him-yeah i did! how are things going, tell me about your week....oh yea by the way im in the hospital.
so he goes on to tell me that he was experiencing tightness in the chest, so he went in to see dr paul. he took a look at his heart and pretty much said "you need surgery on thursday." so hes getting bypass surgery. his father had to get it, and and my grandfathers father died from it. so im really really worried and scared. im sure itll be ok and everything, but theres always that one thought in your head that....i just hope my dad doesnt get too shaken up before surgery. hes always so laid back and calm about everything, and i think if he calls me before he goes into surgery and says all this meaningful stuff....yeah, i dont think i could deal with that. no way.
i really want to leave and be there before he goes into surgery, but i cant miss school. and i have to borrow forty dollars for gas money to get down there. the whole thing is just stressing me out big time.
