Ok so you have to picture me running in circles around the room and jumping for joy because...
I JUST GOT A JOB!!!
Thats right folks...A JOB!
working for Edukids which is a daycare. I will be the head teacher in a pre-school classroom...I'm excited about it because although it is not teaching full-time or anything, at least i know that it is gauranteed work everyday. I'm also making a good salary and I get health benefits and life insurance and a 401K so I don't have to worry about going to the doctors anymore and stuff.
Plus its for the pre-school program so there still is a bit of teaching involved and the kids are a little bit older...not babies.
Maybe within a few weeks i will be able to afford to buy another car!
So this is definately amazing news. I'm so incredibly excited that something actually panned out for me. I also just got the email allowing me to sign up for substitute teaching in Orchard Park...but as it looks there aren't really any subbing placements open right now. So we'll see about that. I also have to call and cancel my appointment to meet with the Lancaster school district on Monday for subbing...but oh well, I got me a new job!
