Chi Shakes auditions
God. I'm sitting outside in the waiting room if an equity call where no one can sing. I've heard 4 women (equity members of course) go in there and not sing. I'm sure they acted their way thru songs, but they COULD NOT SING!! This kills me. I'm a highly trained hardworking, pedal-pushing performer, and here I am waiting for less talented people to not sing in the audition room in hopes of time being left for a non-eq little shit like me.
Not fair.
Maybe I'll go in and they'll be so overjoyed to hear someone who can actually sing that they'll ignore the fact that I'm the baby if the day.
