A Tribute to JP
Today I want to tell you about why JP is an amazing boyfriend. This list is endless so I will just put some of the few highlights, not in any particular order:
1) Today he spent at least 40 minutes digging through ice to get my car out of its parking spot. If I had a camera, I would show you my parking spot in comparison with all of the spots around me, I am the envy of the parking lot. If not for JP, I would be stuck in my spot probably for the entire week until it melted and be forced to walk everywhere.
2) He doesn't mind that if we rent two movies, one that I like and one that he picked, that if I'm tired I might just pretend to be awake but really sleep through his movie.
3) As you all know, I live at UCONN, and JP lives at home. Yet he rarely complains about driving the hour and a half to two hours that it takes to get to me. Even if it's on a whim, like this weekend when we didn't plan for him to visit but it worked out that he could anyway.
4) That even though it's been over four years and I know how he feels about me, he'll tell me anyway because it makes me happy.
5) He doesn't mind helping me do laundry or clean my room
6) Once, I had two exams on a Tuesday and I brought my notebooks for the exams home with me for the weekend in case I had time to study (ha, what a joke) and I accidentally left them there and had no way to study. THEN, that Monday was a holiday so my mom couldn't mail them to me. SO, JP, without any hesitation whatsoever, drove them down to school for me on Monday morning.
7) He lets me have the warmer covers when we have sleep overs, and the better pillows.
8) He doesn't complain when, even though I have the warmer covers, I steal all of his too.
9) While it isn't his favorite thing to do, he will give me a backrub almost every day that I ask him too, and nice long ones too.
10) He makes me laugh, he'll impersonate other people or just be silly in general and even though I'm not a big laugher in the grand scheme of things, he is so fun to be with.
11) He has great hair, like Mark Walhberg in Invincible
12) Because I usually only see him once every other week, he makes an effort to talk to me every day whether it's online or on the phone, even if we don't have much to say, just to ask how my day was going.
13) JP loves baseball, and I certainly don't hate it, but I don't understand a whole lot about it, and he never gets frustrated with explaining the same things to me over and over again if I forget.
14) Even if he doesn't really think it, he always tells me that my picture of the apple is a million gajillion times better than amanda's.
15) He is a wonderful gentleman, he'll pick me up at the door of the restaurant if it's pouring outside, give me his jacket if I'm cold, etc. etc.
I'll stop there, but I could keep going all day. JP is a wonderful wonderful person and an incredible boyfriend. I don't know what I did to deserve such wonderful love.
I hope I didn't embarrass you, JP, but I'm so proud of you and you are so wonderful, I want everyone to know.
