life is such a joke
haha so yea..thought i loooved UT right?? hmm wrong..this college is like a college for kids who have never drank in their life and for people who are all about the club scene. if thats u be my guest and come here next year or even next semester cuz from what i hear its supposed to be like spring break 24/7 next semester. and believe me not the spring break we all look forward too..the kind of spring break where u see kids getting rufied in ybor(our party central wootwoot haha), getting ambulance rides to the nearest hospitals, and dont forget about people who dont know their limit and get too drunk decide to tell the cab driver they want out of the cab and get off in the ghetto and pass out on the curb..hmm that was a nice scene late one night on my way home from ybor. now dont get me wrong, i love walking up to the clubs nad having the bouncers say, hm 21 right?? hah even tho my ID clearly states that im 18...so i get a wrist band and can buy drinks for all the guys oh and dont forget im a lady so i get free beer until 12am...thats a def plus..sober in ybor or when i go back to campus? never! buuut if ur not careful..someone can easily slip something in ur drink, get u on one of these side alley ways in ybor and rape u..its a sketchy area. ybor is fun...if u go like 3 times..then it gets old and clubbing gets old and u wonder..hey where are those local bands and shows..i miss those! yea we dont really get those down here. oh and fall hahaha thats funny..u want fall? go paint the leaves. and in the middle of october, its bound to be up to 90..i miss those crisp fall days that DIDNT smell like smog. and i miss going to a beaach that actually smelt like salt...for some odd reason the beaches here dont maybe its cuz we're swimming in the Gulf...i dunno. well if u wanna know anymore reasons why i dont like it here, please ask away, i have about 40 reasons that im not listing here. im thinking about transferring back up north..possibly to new jersey with my roomie..seems like the perfect place..doesnt get too cold, has surfing right there that ive always wanted to try plus snowboarding and teh culture seems insane..plus the people seem soo..normal!ive talked to a handful of em. unless u've been here for 3 months u wouldnt understand what im talking about. im also transferring back home to MS for a semester at a community college just to get away from here..how ridiculous is that? haha mississippi..thought i hated that place huh?? well yea that place is better than here. dont think m bashing FL..its GORGEOUS..just not tampa and they dont put the colleges in the beautiful areas and the people who go to the colleges arent always the ones ur used too..ive become friends with em and they are all sooo weird. its like they are still stuck in this high school mode of gossip and stabbing eachother in the back and conforming to one another. its like be ur own person and stop looking at eachother and comparing yourselves!! but until the day i leave im stuck here..so i may as well live it up until then..right?? hmm..if there were any real dorm parties i might..thats one other thing thats missing from this school..no real off campus housing..no real dorm parties..no beer pong :-( AHHH! im going insane! but enough comlaining..it'll be over soon! i miss everyone that i said goodbye too not too long ago and im sorry i ever left u muah!
