In case anyone cares you can read the Bible for free in almost any version you can think of online at BibleGateway.com. They have:
-21st Century King James Version-Text
-American Standard Version-Text
-Amplified Bible-Text
-Contemporary English Version-Text & Audio (NT)
-Darby Translation-Text
-Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition.-Text (with Apocrypha)
-English Standard Version-Text & Audio
-Holman Christian Standard Bible-Text
-King James Version-Text & Audio (OT)
-New American Standard Bible-Text & Audio (NT)
-New International Reader's Version-Text
-New International Version-Text & Audio
-New International Version - UK-Text
-New King James Version-Text
-New Life Version-Text
-New Living Translation-Text
-The Message-Text
-Worldwide English (New Testament)-Text (NT)
-Wycliffe New Testament-Text (NT)
-Young's Literal Translation-Text
And those are just the ones in English. They have lots of other languages. I have to admit; I'm pretty impressed with how thorough they seem to be.
Anyone have any advice on versions? I can't read King James....I've tried so many times. I might be able to do the 21st century King James...but we'll see.
