My nan and Derek were in a car accident yesterday. They're both okay, covered in scratches from the smashed glass and bruises from the seatbelts.
Nan didn't give way at a Give Way sigh and a guy ploughed into the side of them *shakes head* Nan said she didn't see his car coming.
Her car is written off and she's still a little shaken. Seems that it was the other guy who got off worse because he had a heart condition and now he's under observation while nan and Derek got home that afternoon.
So nan'll lose some points off her licence and get a neg driving record. Silly old lady.
But they're okay, and that's all that matters.

I took my darling, beautiful watch to the jeweler to get a new battery but they can't get the watch off the band. They said to come back this arvo. Man, if they break my watch... It has a 3 year warranty and its only 18 months old. I don't know if the warranty covers incompetent jewelers.
ETA: My baby watch is fine - they managed without denting it or anything :D Even set the time. $10.
