i gots me a job
after 2 months of searching .... i finally got a job
i will be starting February 11th at Electric Artists in SoHo, NYC.
if any of you are avid readers of my LJ (i dont know why you would be ... my life is boring) but you might recognize this company as being the place that i interned at last summer.
the only downfall with the place is the commute.
over the summer, their office was right in times square.
it took about an hour to get there.
it was an amazing location ... right next to RENT (which boo is closing)
and it was 2 blocks away from where my best friend worked.
it was perfect.
but last month they moved to soho so now between bus rides and train rides it takes about 2 hours ... sometimes 2 hours and 15minutes.
so ill probs be leaving around 7am and getting home between 8 and 9pm.
yeah the commute blows, but the oppurtunity is really great and theyre really looking forward to me starting.
plus it opens a lot of doors in the industry.
so we shall see.
im sure ill be posting entries in the future bitching about the commute ... so be prepared hahaha
