(no subject)
today i woke up to go outside to go to the markethouse, only to have it start raining on my head and then turning around to go back to ravine. i rested...a lot today. i watched some cooking shows, including julia childs, and sipped hot broth. my throat is still destroying me, and i'm continuing to take drugs...kinda at increasing dosages, but i don't think i'll od. i really hate having to take aspirin to take the pain away from my throat...but i have so damn much of it from the health center that it almost seems a waste not to take them...that's totally not an argument because i can just give them to the hypochondriacs who populate the earth and crave drugs every day.
maybe i'll chug the cough syrup for a high like those teenagers do. my throat is really really starting to annoy me now, because the pain is still there, and not going away like it should. but i don't have strep throat, so that's good. it's just post-nasal problems. whatever.
i went to the market house today and got really good ciabatta bread. yesterday megan got zach, graham, herself, and i pizza. i appreciate that...i basically had focaccia marinara with tomato slices. i put my own chopped kalamatas, garlic in olive oil and basil on it, which made it really tasty. thanks, megan!
i don't know what i'm doing tonight...there's a shindig on loomis, but you have to have a costume, and i don't know who'll be there, and i don't know if i'm up to doing all that with my throat the way it is (painful).
i wish megan were here...i'd bring my clothes over to her so she could fit them, like a slave child laborer in vietnam. but she's at her apostolic friend's wedding.
it was raining and grey all day today...and all the past four weeks, really. so when i read of koln's sunshine in maja's journal, i get really pissed off, cuz i haven't seen that in a month.
