Last night at work with an hour to go I had run out of things to do to entertain myself and I was very worried that I may even become bored. ::gasp:: Luckily just then I remembered that my
Sandbox.com Baseball Fantasy League Draft was last night and that I would have a whole team to tinker with. Excitedly, I went to check out my newly drafted team and to play GM.
My team looks great. I have the best starting pitching I think I've ever had and that's the most important thing in this league. My position players could be a bit stronger but they're certainly not bad either. I checked it out and I got first position in the draft. That's probably why I got so many of the players I wanted.
This year
Sandbox.com charges money to play, but only $4.95 so I signed up again. I love their Fantasy Baseball. So after an off year, last year, I hope to make a jump back to 1st place.
Unfortunately they changed the system a bit (and it looks like it will one day be better) and I can't change my roster right now. There's some bug they need to work out. Luckily I have a few weeks before the actual season starts.
I was so into the whole baseball mood last night, I even made some ballpark franks when I got home from work. Mmmm...
Then today
Jeff invited me to his
Yahoo Fantasy Baseball League. I'm not accustomed to the rules of this league, but as competitive as I am, I'll make sure to find a way to hang in there with the rest of the fools in the league.
Oh boy! I can't wait for real baseball to start. I watched a spring training NY Mets @ Houston game yesterday and it was very exciting. I ♥ Baseball.
