almost morning?
ok so i decided to update this lame journal in honour of Harmony, whom i havent talked to in a while but yesterday was her birthday so happy birthday, Harmony!
with that said, i must congratulate someone very special to me, someone very "personal" to me, on finally taking initiative and going job searching this week! Congratulations, Me!
Also, I partied on saturday with a plethora of international personalities. lindsey is good friends with kids from the student exchange program, so i went to a party one of them threw. jesus. i just envisioned the epochal task of explaining the scenario. but heres a summary:
sylvia is a little girl from italy who is bursting with energy and explodes when she drinks too much. and she explodes in a sudden assault on Martin, the Czech water polo star, by chasing him into the living room, spanking him with a towel and howling old Italian insults at him. he is bewildered and looks around...to...Roo? Roo, whose name is actually Rodriguez or something but it can't be pronounced correctly by any American so it doesn't matter. But Roo is burnt out on the bota that he couldn't keep up with earlier and is slipping fast. Julia, apparently pronounced "Yulya", being from Poland and all, casually slides through the madness and happenings in the home of her host family. what can i say about julia? stubborn, spoiled, posh, hip, [brutally] honest, and absolutely adorable, making me blush... oh, and her father is the former prime minister of Poland or something.so she just strolls through her house all casually with that heineken. and there is also Gee, who is probably even more innocent that Julia but its a close call, who came from Brazil and who, predictably, led the high school soccer team to NYS championship. i chuckle as i wake in a haze the morning after the party and find an etch-a-sketch lying nearby...with a message written on it...."BRAZIL RULES"
