Now PLEASE let's think about this! Britain did not have a terrorist attack until we went to Afghanistan. We went to Afghanistan so that the United States (more particularly, Bush) could get their revenge on Osama Bin Laden, for which they still have not succeeded.
Maybe these world leaders could get a backbone and step into the fray themselves for a year instead of putting the humble soldier's life at risk for seemingly no good reason. The general consensus is that we shouldn't have gotten involved with this war, and where I appreciate it's necessity and continuation now (and would gladly sacrifice everything to protect my small family of Amanda and Izzie) you have to beg the question, have the Americans actually WON a war that they started in the last 40 years..?
Barack seems sensible, maybe he can make up for the previous administration's grievous errors.
