In August, my thesis went to the examiners, and I received a letter from the uni saying that (for the first time in several years), I am officially no longer a student. That feels very strange, and I'm wondering whether it means that it's now legal for me to perform experiments on animals again.
Also in August, I finished an AHWA Mentorship, and finished and submitted a novella, a book review, and a two-part GURPS adventure. One contract, no acceptances, and one rejection - but it's difficult to resent a rejection letter that begins "We are huge Dedman fans, really we are" and ends "Please please please please send more."
