Oh my!
I have not posted in quite a long time, and there is so much to write about. I guess I will have to start from the beginning.
The Friday before X-mas I went to Necto with Jason and Steph. I was so tired that I fell asleep at the bar!! Who does that?? The next morning I drove to Bay City- which I am not calling "home" anymore because I don't have a home- I drove all the way there and back with no license...oops! Anyway, when I got there my sister and I drove to Saginaw to see the house and have Chinese food!! (That is my favorite part about going to Saginaw/Bay City). The following day was X-mas and my sister and I cooked for my family, and we all had a nice time. My dad gave me money which I promptly spent the following day at Best Buy on a new car stereo!! I stopped to visit Anjali on the way back to Lansing, it had been a long time since I saw her.
The rest of the week was a blur until Friday. Friday I worked 9-7, then I booked it home to shower and change for Sheri's birthday party at Rum Runners. We got there at 8:15pm and stayed until 2am. Sheri didn't go up on the piano which was a bummer, and I found out Dave is moving to Florida, which is another bummer, but we had a very good time. Sheri and I were the double d's!! I went to bed that night at 2:30am and got up at 5:15am to get ready for work!! I worked until 2pm and suprisingly was not terribly tired. When I got home I ate some lunch then tried to nap but Sheri kept calling!! I woke up, cleaned, and prepared for the night...NYE!!
Sheri, Steph, Jamie, Becky, Pat, Jason, and Gomer came over to my apt to celebrate the new year. We had so much alcohol, it was crazy! The boys brought their rendition of Jenga and we played that most of the night. At one point we needed another male player so Becky and I went to the neighbors apartments. I ran into Jeff West from HS- very strange- and he came over to my apartment to play Jenga. I never thought 6 years ago that he would be in my house. Anyway, I was very drunk, chasing alcohol with more alcohol. At about 2am I fell asleep with Tanner on my bed. He never left me the whole night, and there was still people in my apartment- he's an angel. The next morning Jamie and I made breakfast for everyone, and I came to find out about all the drama during the night. I won't get into details but let's just say that Jason is a pig and Sheri is no longer friends with him, and Jamie swears to not do that again (or at least for me not to let her)
Last night I had pizza with Jen B, her bf, and Lisa. Afterward I went to see Fun with Dick and Jane with Sheri and Steph, then we met up with the boys (Kyle, Layne, and Nunzio) at Trippers to play pool. They are so funny and nice, it is fun to hang out with them, they aren't assholes which is a change of scenery. At 1:30 we went to IHOP for all you can eat pancakes (the boys were so excited about it) and we didn't get home unti 3:30am.
My new addiction is LimeWire. I am trying to make new cds for my new stereo. I called Jake to install it since he owes me for helping out with the dog. He said he would but he is busy at work and with his cars- bummer too cuz I want my stereo installed now!!! So if you have any song ideas- new or old- let me know ;)
