My subbing assignment today was sixth-grade science in the middle school to our south. I'm becoming very familiar with these sixth graders, which may go some way towards explaining why they're comparatively well-behaved when I'm there. It was a good day, and I got to come home early because the regular teacher had planning periods at the end of the day.
Back home, I relaxed a little bit and then walked down to our insurance company's local office to pay our homeowner's insurance. The afternoon was very warm, so it was a nice walk. After coming home from that errands, I spent some time online and then took a very long nap.
For dinner tonight, I made fettuccine Alfredo with leftover bits of roast chicken. It started raining early in the evening, which eventually turned into thunderstorms. And now it's of to a late bedtime. At least tomorrow I don't have to be up at the crack of dawn.
