Up late morning, and walked in to work, where I pulled a noon to 8:00 PM closing shift. It was a pretty slow day, but I had lots of little tasks to keep me busy, like populating purchase orders with books for the summer and doing some publicity work (making up a new bookmark to hand out and changing the easel signs). In the evening, it was quiet enough that I had time to read some more of Jane Steele, which gives you an idea of what sort of day it was.
I got a ride home from queenmomcat, and back home I spent some time online catching up on the news (and cartoons) of the day. Dinner was spaghetti with meat sauce, which was very satisfying. And soon we will be off to a late bedtime. It's been a pretty good day overall, and I have a weekend off to look forward to, so things are going well.
