Up early for subbing this morning, and off to the high school to our south to be a Spanish teacher. It was a mixed day: some classes were great, while others were pretty unruly. Unruliness is unusual in the high school to our south, but the classes in question were filled with kids who were eighth-graders last year, and I remember them being somewhat ill-behaved then as well. I guess it's just that particular cohort.
In any case, I spent some time online after I got back home, and then went out and ran a few errands in the afternoon. I was feeling active enough that I didn't end up taking a nap, which was a pleasant change. (Of course, it means that I'm falling asleep at the computer now.) I fried up some hamburgers for dinner, and since then I've been spending my time unproductively online. Off to bed soon, and another day off tomorrow.
