Had a really good day today. Started with a trip into work and did 2 1/2 hours of the WIP plus a bit of planning and organisation for The Future. Felt very stiff and sore by the end of it, but pleased with progress.
Came home, had a 1 hour power nap then out to catch a train into the city. Under normal circumstances it is possible to get a parking spot at the station mid afternoon, but they're doing works in the carpark for more parking spaces, which means that there are many fewer parking spaces than usual. After only very mild panic I felt fortunate to get a spot in the furthest corner.
Into town and to Wildilocks without trouble, although I did notice that I couldn't just wander around the shops to kill time. Still, covered more ground than usual, and people-watched with interest.
Got repurpled, and collected a pot of some vile substance for future DIY touchups. While I was stewing I tried reading some of The (Much Neglected) Book, which I'd dead-tree'd this morning. The good news is that there is hope.
Home again on the train during peak hour. Standing room only as expected, but when did commuters forget how to spread themselves along the carriages? I saw people left on the platform because of the squeeze near the doors, but they would have easily fitted another dozen in if everyone had made room. *grumblegrumblegetoffmylawn*
