As is the occasional habit of our household, this evening Husband was regaling me with the tales of small furry animals that he had discovered in the day's news.

"Sloths," quoth he, "have been maligned: the mammals have become a byword for indolence because in captivity they sleep for 16 hours in 24."

"Pfff!" interrupted I, clearly unimpressed. "See my koala!"

At which point our collective momentum was disrupted by this jewel of an expression and we pondered. So many applications, so little time.

BTW sloths in the wild only sleep 9 1/2 hours, barely rating a mention on the sliding teenage cat snooze-o-meter.
