A lot happened last week. We moved!

We had, until Wednesday, lived at 99 Claremont, at Union Theological Seminary. While my mother was studying, we were given three years to occupy an on-campus appartment. Of course, they gave us the boot when she finished studying there.

But fortune really smiled on us. The seminary needed the appartment in March, but they had leased it to us until July! So, to compensate for breaking the lease, we were given a new appartment in a different building in which we will live until July 2005, thus saving us the trouble of searching for a new appartment in a less desirable neighborhood for more money.

Yeah, so, new appartment, new beginnings. My new bedroom feels so much more habitable than the old one (although it is smaller). I think it's because I'm a much more together person than I was when we moved into the other appartment three years ago. It really feels homey.

There's a lot coming up, but I'll be brief; I'm on a library computer and after three minutes I will have outstayed my welcome (they really crack down on computer-hogs). I've got to put together an audition tape for a music camp in Israel, and since I'm leaving to see Laura on Thursday, I need to do this buy Wednesday. I called Funkadelic studios, but they were closed. I'll try again later.

Now I'm off to meet Kate for lunch.
