After hunting around and fiddling with things, I managed to crop the black bars out but couldn't manage to get it un-glitchy and weird-looking... I also couldn't manage to improve the quality, even with black bars, so at the end of the day middle of the night, I ended up where I'd started: with an average quality (which is, again, better than on YouTube!) video with big black bars. I will figure all this techy stuff out soon, I promise you. *shakes fist*)
To marginally improve the picture (I think? is it doing any good?), change it to 480p.
