Here we go again...

So, another unstable individual has decided that they should not retreat but instead reload.  Of course, the talking heads will line up for the usual mouthings.  This has nothing to do with us.  This guy was clearly unstable.  You can't say he was influenced by violent right wing rhetoric because he could have done the same thing after reading Dungeons and Dragons.  There will be calls for civility and commodity and it will last for maybe a week, if that.  There are already narratives being constructed, a 22 year old who smoked pot and read leftist literature.  I've read Ayn Rand but I'm no Libertarian.

There are a few things that most people will not want to recognize.  It's not the sane people who are influenced by the violent rhetoric, it's the unstable ones.  To say that the rhetoric is equal on both sides is like saying that a garden hose is the same as a fire hose.  It's insulting to a reasonable person who has legitimate concerns about the abuses of the previous administration to be equated with tea party activists worried about birth certificates and death panels.  It's not fair or balanced to make false equivalencies.
