wow.. what a crazy month! i've been sooooo crazy busy that I haven't updated at all. I need to change that. I am about to post a million pictures of my wedding, honeymoon, and new puppy.

Saturday, March 3, 2007. Honeymoon: Day One
To make a long story short, Jimmy woke up with a lot of pain in his lower back.. right above his butt. The pain was so severe that he was throwing up...we decided to go to the urgent care clinic before Disney... it turned out that he had a Pilonidal Abscess and it had to be lanced right away!!!!!!! So on the morning of our honeymoon my poor new hubby was laying on his stomach, getting an extremely painful procedure done with almost no anesthesia. it was so tramautic.. BUT we weren't letting anything fuck up our honeymoon and we headed to Disney after picking up some prescription pain pills, antibiotics, and a blow up donut for Jimmy to sit on! Even though we had a very tramautic morning, we decided to make the best of it.
We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and it was AMAZING! the best resort ever, i'm sure. We stayed in a Deluxe Guest Room with a Savannah view. It had the most comfortable bed.

After checking in and resting for an hour or two, we decided to head to Animal Kingdom. We just took it easy and checked out all the animals.

when we checked in at the resort, we each got a "Just Married" cinderella and prince charming pin! we wore them all weekend.
at MGM we basically went to the Star Wars gift shop and spend over $200! Then we went to see the Muppet 3-D show and to their gift shop.. the Muppet gift shop has like 3 Muppet things and the other half of the store is Disney shit. Lame!!
Sunday, March 4, 2007. Honeymoon: Day Two
We woke up early this morning and headed over to Epcot.

the amount of rides we could go on was very limited.. we didn't go on any coasters or crazy rides.. just 3-D shows and kids rides. it doesn't matter, though, because just being at Disney gives you the best feeling! we had a blast regardless.

making a pit stop at the resort before going to Magic Kingdom
since we were staying at a disney resort, we got to utilize "extra magic hours." Each day one of the parks opens an hour early or stays open three hours after regular Park closing. On this day, Magic Kingdom was open until 1am.. for resort stayers only, it was amazing! We took the Ferry boat over to MK, and I was getting so anxious that we were going to miss the fireworks show.. it was almost time for it to start and we were just getting on the boat! i was so upset.. then I start to hear explosions in the sky and it turns out we had a PERFECT view of the show! even better than if we were in the park. it was awesome!

The next day, we headed home. We had such a nice, relaxing honeymoon.. we love disney so much, we're going to go every year to celebrate our anniversaries.

Thursday, March 8, 2007. Getting our first puppy!
We've been talking about getting a puppy for awhile now.. but pets aren't allowed in the house we rent. We researched non-shedding or light-shedding dogs, but we were just looking..we never went through with anything. A friend of ours recently got a Maltese and said it was a really cute, smart dog. Jimmy did a little Maltese research and found out that they are hypoallergenic (for most people) and don't shed.. they have no undercoat.. just hair! So when we woke up on Thursday, Jimmy said, "we're getting a dog today!!" While Adam, Jimmy, and I ate at Cracker Barrel, we searched the classifieds for breeders. We saw an ad for Maltese puppies and called the breeder up. The place was called Circle L Farms and it's located in Pomona Park, south of Palatka, basically the middle of nowhere, haha. After lunch, we took the hour drive and arrived at a farm that had soo many puppies running around! It was great. When we pulled up, I saw a little white guy and I knew it was a Maltese. There was him and another Maltese that was a little bigger but behind a gate and yapping a lot. The first Maltese I saw was very chill and verrrrryy cute. Jimmy picked him up and instantly loved him. We took a quick look at the other one, but went back to the first puppy. It took a few minutes of holding him for us to decide he was the one!!! We said we'd take him, I signed a few papers.. and he was ours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was the best. He was a little dirty from running around in the dirt and he had kennel cough but he was perfect. I couldn't wait to take him home and give him a bath! (Side Note: I love Jimmy SO MUCH for getting things done. I'm the type who will always talk about doing things but I never get around to doing them. Jimmy is the one who will say, "let's do it" and we do it! Just like that! haha, I'm so glad I have him in my life or nothing important would get done!)

he sleeps in our bed every night... so to make it easier on him, we got him some steps!
he's really good about running up and down them. sometimes while running down, he skips the last two steps and just flies, hahaha. it's so cute... he has pillows to land on, though.

our bed right now is a Full and Jimmy has been sleeping on a mattress in the living room because he's so scared that he'll roll over and kill Muzzy! We finally went to a furniture store and financed a King sized bed (whoo hoo!!! finally!!!!) and a HUGE couch for the living room. They're being delivered on Friday and I CANNOT WAIT! We've wanted a King bed for months and we're finally getting one! Getting married is awesome, we got a couple thousand dollars. Thanks to that, we're getting an AMAZING bed and we got a really really nice sheet set (lilac) and comforter/duvet cover (black) that I'm so excited to start using.
Okay.. well. Phew. That was such a huge post, it took me hours! Thanks for reading/looking. I've been so busy lately with school and my new family but I love it all and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
