Alive. Still in New Bern, North Carolina. Still working as a repair tech at Wheatstone (manufacturers of audio consoles extraordinaire) - and now doing some part-time engineering work at a cluster of local FM stations owned by Beasly Broadcasting: WSFL-106.5/classic rock, 99X/heavy metal, V-103/soft rock & adult contemp, Kiss 102/rap.
Been mostly ripping out old un-used cabling from studios -- and yes there is a lot. These stations seem to have been in that building for a decade or more. Nasty work.
Gran passed away November 20, 2013. Now I'm looking to make my way back to New York City -- eventually I'll have to do the duties of a daughter and take care of mom when she gets to that age also. *sigh*
Next month I'm moving to a new apartment here in town -- all the room-mates are gone except for one.
Bed time now. 6:30 a.m. comes way too soon.
