Oooh, I will definitely have to try that! I've been having digestive issues for about a year, now. I remember in college yours were pretty bad, and I started displaying similar symptoms last year around October. They did a colonoscopy and found a bunch of polyps that they ended up removing and they weren't cancerous, but they said it definitely contributed to my discomfort. I also have this on again/off again case of diverticulitis, but as long as I don't eat seeds and other things that get 'stuck' in the tract too frequently, I'm usually okay. I will definitely have to look into that yogurt, though. We don't have Trader Joe's but I'm pretty sure Wegman's caries its own brand of Greek yogurt.
As far as the working out goes, do you think it could be a lack of oxygen to your brain? They say to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth so as not to OVER breathe and hyperventilate but maybe you're not breathing enough? Sometimes when I'm doing the weight machines, when I'm applying force I stop breathing b/c I'm so focused on lifting the weights, and then upon the release is when I remember to breathe. I also sometimes forget to breathe when I'm doing more deep stretching, and find that I get headaches that way. I didn't even realize I was doing this until I started taking personal training sessions at my gym and my trainer was like, "do you realize you don't breathe...like ever?" So she worked with me on proper breathing when exercising. That might be a possibility you could look into.
