Ok. So, I've been inspired by Julie Powell from "Julie and Julia" (you must go see it, I've seen it twice now!) to blog about a project. As I'm sure my friends know, I've been going crazy about trying to lose weight. So, I figured if I put it all in the open, and tracked everything I did, not to mention be brutally honest about weight and measurements, I might just do something about it (like, really do something about it). I'm sorry to say my humor won't be anything like Julie's, and while yes, I'll be writing about my meals, I'm not going to cook anything nearly as fantastic as she did. So, just like Julie did, here are my self given rules:
1. Post daily my food choices and amounts for the day. I plan go to partly vegetarian (I'm not giving up fish, and will eat chicken on occasion).
2. Post weekly my weight and BMI as given to me by my Wii Fit. I shall post this on Sundays.
3. Post weekly my bust, waist, hips, and thigh measurements. Again, on Sundays.
4. Post daily my workout.
5. Timeline-starting Wednesday, August 19th, 2009 to December 25th, 2009.
Goal-not completely sure, but 30 pounds doesn't sound half bad.
My friends' role in all of this-just be supportive! No judgement please! I chose this as a safe place, so, I'll probably make this journal friends only, which means y'all are safe, but, it's not like random people are really reading my journal anyways ;) Although, I need a catch phrase like "bon appetit" but I can't seem to think of a good one for weight loss. Just do it, anyone?
