the living is easy
Wow. School's out!!! Yesterday was the longest day everrr at work, but I think I did a good job considering I was the only one working and there were a lot of needy students. I went to Northampton after work and spent the night at my sister's. We saw the Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill--- such a beautiful and uplifting movie. I almost cried at a couple points even though it was about birds, but so much more than birds. We did lots of sister bonding like talks and walks and beading and that was really nice. I'm so lucky I have a sister who is one of my best friends.
Well, now I'm in Amherst til Friday and I miss my friends! I'm getting excited for a week of relaxation here and massive cleaning episodes :) In my mind I'm getting ready to go home. I'm looking forward to the change of scenery and the people and places that make my hometown feel so snug.
Jess and I are going to the cape, probably Provincetown, in June. If anyone is reading this and wants in let us know soon so we pick days that are good for everyone.
I'm going to go rest for a while and enjoy this new freedom called SUMMER.
