whayt an exhausting 9 hours this morning! so we got to the pasadena rose bowl at 5:30 becuase thats how early they wanted us to be there...they said we could strt going in at 6:00 around 8:10 the line started to finally move. they kept taking shots of us "looking" happy...haha. emphasis on the word looking there. there was this REALLY strange girl who BARKED im not kidding...they put her straight on the news..someones chihuahua started barking back at her...good times man. after we got inside we were all packed like sardines into tiny chairs (not a place for the tall people) i kinda laughed at the thought of how my dad had the day before offered to take me...yea...at 6'9" my dad wouldve been THE most miserable person there.

so yea...we wait in the blistering heat with nothing but water and an umbrella to soothe the pain...from about 9 or so to about 1:45 we sit there...i asked dustin if he wanted to leave to go get food as he looked hungry and tired...but after hearing the line was over an hour and a half he decided against it. it was funny to watch singers walking around with cheesy nachos and milk byproducts like ice cream. the kinda shit you NEVER EAT BEFORE AN AUDITION...i didnt want to eat any of that mess..so i just sat there and ate my ricolas and drank my water. then finaly they got to section five...one by one our rows were asked to walk closer towards the auditions....about 15-20 minutes later...i was there...in front of the judging panel of three judges...waitig my turn...waiting and eargerly antici[ating my chance in the spotlight...and just as painfully long as it took to wait for it...in the blink of a thirty second period all my hard work..the nice outfit i wore..the slaving over my makeup box at three in the morning...the choosing of the perfect song for my range...all of it went out the window witht he words "thank you you three. im sorry to say you're not what we're looking for. better luck next year"

it was relieving to know i would be getting out of the heat and getting some much needed food..yaya for heat exhaustion.

but yea...if i had to..knowing i wouldnt make it...would i do it all over again? absolutely...it was defintiely a rewarding experience. my first huge audition. so it didnt work out..i can finally say..i tried out for american idol.
