Back To School
I am slightly jealous of everyone going back to school or going back to teaching school. Work is not so fun. Whitney is going to business school at night and taking classes; Alison is going back for her final year at law school; and Virginia is re-taking Physics to get into PT School. Plus, it seems like everyone at Bible study is a teacher. So, I decided I am going to play Kickball! Haha. It's the closest to a school-like activity. That is getting back to basics! I LOVED PE in elementary school and our class was always the best in Field Day. Our teacher recruited athletes (we thought).
I am getting tickets to Kings of Leon in October because my sex is on fiiiire! If anyone wants to come, tickets go on sale Saturday and they are $44 at the BJCC.
Life is a little better as far as work goes. I'm trucking along. My manager, Natalie, is totally awesome. If she were my age, we'd probably be best of friends, but she has a 5 year old boy. I told her that I was not happy with the job and she said she is not happy here either. She says she thinks we are feeding off of each other (negativity). She said to let her know when I plan on leaving the job and I said after 2 years at least with the company (February). I just don't want to leave her since our "art department" is just her and me! We are like a well-oiled machine back here.
Jeff and I still can't figure out where to live, but he just bought a laptop and he ensures me that now that he has it, he will look up more jobs on it. His old computer was just that...OLD!!! It took like 20 minutes to open a window.
I have been hanging with Miss Amy Bishop and Steven. Jeff and I had a double-engagement dinner at this yummy restaurant. I snuck like 1/3 of Jeff's salmon away from him, hehe. We also played Imagineiff, the board game, at my house. Fun stuff! I love me some board games! Then, we watched "Coming To America." Great times...
