Shrieking...elsewhere! ;)
Over at the Girls Heart Books blog, I just posted an entry called Shrieking Underneath the Covers, all about the weird phenomenon of Pre-Publication Panic. Here's a snippet:
Even when my first book came out, as I was dealing with my very first experience of Publication Day Panic (which can begin many months before the actual publication day), I told myself: This cannot always feel so scary. Surely I’ll be used to it by Book 2!
Hahahahaha. Or in other words: NO....
(And no, I am not going to tell you how much time I wasted...er, devoted...to coming up with that photo on PhotoBooth last night! Ahem. It was WORK, because I needed a featured image to go onto the Girls Heart Books front page today. So it was totally serious, professional time spent. Right???)
