In 2007 I will:
Try new recipes (about one new one per week)
Explore more
Go apple picking
Read more books
Be more involved
2007 is pretty awesome so far, and I expect it to only get better.
We're moving back to Kentucky in March. I don't hate the DC area, in fact, I really like it here and there are several things that I'm going to miss-- Dr. Dremo's, the Shenandoah Mountains, DC, the Potomac River, Ethiopian food, Northern Virginia wineries-- but I miss home and am ready to get back. I'm really looking forward to getting home and just in time for Thunder!
Since running the Chicago Marathon last October, I've been trying to decide what to do next. I think I've decided to run the mini-marathon in Louisville the morning of Thunder. Anyone who'd like to join is welcome, it'll be fun!
We're getting married September 8th in Cincinnati. We've been engaged since October 2005, and we're FINALLY beginning to plan some things. So far we know when and where…it's a start! More to come soon.
The holidays were great! We went home for about a week and for the first time ever Craig and I actually spent the holidays together. We each got backpacks for Christmas (we're backpacking in Europe for the honeymoon) and tested them out on a 6-mile hike yesterday along the Potomac River. It was awesome.
Aaron, Ali and Sam came to town for the weekend of NYE and we had a great time-- we went to DC, ate some great food (including an awesome vegetarian restaurant downtown, a Mexican Fiesta and Sushi) and we had a chance to see Abrams and Katie for a night to boot!
Can anyone recommend a good book and/or a good recipe. Also, if you want to come visit DC you should do so by the end of March.
