Today's ramblings

I woke up today with a migraine. The low grade headache I had all day yesterday had morphed into a nasty throbbing monster. Luckily, I still had an Imitrex sample I got at the doc's office a while back. Took that along with some Aleve, and thankfully, knocked it out of the park. I only get migraines a couple of times a year these days, which I'm very thankful for, and this is only the second one since my lapband surgery almost a year ago. It was really nice to be able to stop the migraine before progressing to the nausea/vomiting stage, since that didn't play so well with the band last time around.

This is the second day in a row that I was under 240, so I think it's going to stick this time. I'm hoping that I can get my weight loss moving again. I've been more or less stalled for the last month. (lost about 2 lbs, but at least it's stable, and not gaining.) I'm working til 7 tonight, and still can't drive for about another month, so I'll be missing the Solstice celebration with DMC, which I'm a bit bummed about. But, I'll be going to dinner at a friend's house this evening. She'll pick me up once I'm off work. I'm really looking forward to it, should be lots of fun. I just hope I can eat. My band has been very tight the past few days, so I may or may not be able to really eat. But, it's a bandster household, so they'll understand if I can't eat much.

One more month til I can drive... I'm counting the days! I just hope that the doc gives me clearance without any difficulty. I'm sooo looking forward to being mobile again, and being able to get to the gym. It's too hot to excercise outside, and I'm really bad about sticking to a routine at home, even though I have a bunch of DVDs.
