rambles
I'm just updating because i don't want people to think that Ry is better at LJ than me.
Atlanta was good. i was really bitter and mad and everything going into it, but Ry and i worked thru that and in the end, i was able to have so much fun cheering for everyone without the pressure of competing myself and it sure beats having that 'if only i'd landed that toe!' feeling in the back of my mind.
back to work with me now...i'm working pretty much all day, every weekday in the office. i might be more than just the phone girl now, but whatever. it's a lot of fun and the other secretaries tell me i'm doing a good job. that's always nice.
new classes start next week and i'm taking over a couple of little kid classes. one of the instructors is gonna have a baby, so everyone's taking on a couple of her students to help her out, but no one wanted her LTS classes, and i'm all like ME ME ME! so those are tuesday and thursdays, 2 on tues and 1 on thurs. FUN.
just until i move, y'know. :) excited!
about that, i talked to my mom about it the other day and she said she's been expecting it. i'm like...how could she expect it?! but that's the mom 6th sense i guess. It'll be a change, but i think it will be good for me. Maybe i can convince Mrs. McDonough to loosen her death grip and AP and i can get an apartment together, how sweet would that be???!!!!
i'm all done now. i had the best convo tonight with johnny about 80s cartoons, haha, but now it's bedtime for a girl like me who works at 9!
