Updating from Amsterdam
I didn't miss the plane! Yeah! And guess who DID forget? That's right, the Quirky One Herself. Who was totally surprised when I called her and was like, "where the hell are you?" So we went and had lunch, which was fun. (Yes, I forgave her.) We went out to this bar later. It was a blast. I'm pretty sure. I can't remember too much LOL but I do remember lots of music and dancing.
And the gymnastics comp was COOL. And these were apparently just the juniors! Can't wait for the rest of it. We're all getting ready to cheer for Sveta (that's why we're here, of course), which may or may not have led to me and Shelly doing some loud, rousing cheering in random places.
I wonder what I'd be like if I'd gone into gymnastics instead of skating. I tell you one thing, my shoulders would definitely be a hell of a lot bigger, that's for sure.
Jenny couldn't come, which SUCKED. I miss you so much! Damn touring. Stupid making-a-lot-of-money-and-becoming-more-famous-and-having-a-crazy-time-while-you're-at-it. And Caro's here now, which has been...weird. I feel really bad, and I can't tell if she still hates me (and I definitely wouldn't blame her if she did) or what. We've just been pretty much avoiding each other, which can't go on forever, but oh well.
ETA that I finally got to see that OC show everyone's been talking about! It wasn't exactly quality television, lol, but it was pretty fun, if kind of stupid. But who pays any attention to what's going on when you've got that amazing girl who plays Summer? I tell you, she is just a terrific actress.
