i just wanted to say that i recently discovered that i am on the top sellers list on etsy. i think that is really neat and quite an accomplishment. i also noticed quite a few other lovely ladies i know on the list.
also i'm thinking of bringing home my items i have in a local vintage store. i was selling quite a bit of stuff there at first, but for the last month and a half it's been really slow. the last time i went i hadn't been in two weeks and only sold two pairs of earrings. however, i also had two rather large items go missing. actually, i've had quite a few items go missing. things like a couple pairs of earrings, a felt pin, a crocheted flower pin, and my cupcake scarf. yes, a scarf i spent hours crocheting and appliqued a felt cupcake on which happened to have hand embroidered sprinkles in 4 colors was stolen. i'm quite a bit ticked off at the mother who helps run her daughter's shop. the scarf was $25, and because she wasn't paying attention some girl walked off with it. i'm supposed to be paid for items that go missing, but since they would have had to pay me $20 out of their pocket she wouldn't and i had to settle for $15. i'm still waiting to hear about what happened to my crocheted flower pin that's been missing three weeks. besides stuff missing, i've had items disappear for a week or two and then show back up. i've also had two pair of earrings break and not all the pieces returned. i adore the mom and daughter that run the store, but i really can't put up with the way they handle the business any more. so, basically, should i pull all my stuff out now, or give it a few more weeks and see how i feel after the new year?
