Key spotted something was off the minute he walked into the dorm after his schedule. "What the hell?"
In the centre of their living area was a large Christmas tree, decorations hanging heavily from the lower branches and scattered on the floor as the tree branches drooped from the weight. Key had a feeling that someone had let Taemin loose with the Christmas decorations. That someone being Choi Minho wanting to score points with the maknae. "Hey! Choi Minho!"
Taemin and Minho rushed in the room, Taemin's face full of glee and Minho's slightly flushed and avoid Key's eyes. "Yes, hyung?" Taemin was the one to speak, and Key relaxed slightly, his annoyance dissipating with each word Taemin said.
"Why is the tree decorated?" Key asked, doing his best to keep his voice calm.
"Minho hyung said that we should because it's getting close to Christmas and we have busy schedules." Taemin answered. Minho at least had the decency to look guilty.
Key sighed, he couldn't stay mad at the maknae. "You need to make sure the decorations are evenly spread across the tree." Key started the speech he gave most years, keeping Taemin and Minho captive until the tree was perfectly dressed to his standards.
