just a thought..
humans are the only species that are aware of the fact that life continues on once they leave.
if i'm not where you are, how do i know you are really continuing to live?
slightly vain of me to think the whole entire world revolves around me to the point that others aren't even still continuing their lives when i leave, but i could never know for sure.
No one can actually know for sure.
every other species on earth have no idea that others continue to live when they leave.
