lets see.. tonight i went and saw anchorman. i dont really understand what all this hub-jub is goin around about how hilarious and witty this movie is. well for starters i did find it to be, overall, a better movie than dodgeball (which doesnt exactly mean much.. im not gonna sit around on my lil ass defending that movie bc everyone else seemed to find it to be a 'knee slapper'). anchorman had a plot line, not a very good one, but a decent one.. in which both the guy (will farell) and the girl (chrstina applegate -whom i've absolutly looooooved since the moment i set eyes on 'the sweetest thing' a good few years back) struggle to become THE anchorman -or woman? hmm.. is anchorman a politically correct term? eh anyyyyways, and throughout the movie there were three other, i guess you could say main characters, introduced (rick, champ, and ron). im not really sure what they're supposed to represent in the 'real world', if they're supposed to represent anything at all. rick was mentally retarted and said to have an IQ somewhere around that of 48... he had some pretty funny lines one of them being in the midst of an all out brawl, "where did you find a hand grenaide?" rick's reply: "i... dont... know... (quizical look)" idunno you have to really SEE it, to understand it :P the movie ended just like just about every other movie i've seen recently, almost an identical ending to dodge ball... the guy you become most attached to throughout the movie, the one who represents the 'good guy' and is able to overcome hardships, comes out ahead in the end. after the oh-so-funny :/ movie, we went and sat in leens car for a while and chit-chatted after stopping at wendys to load up on fries and an assortment of other unhealthy food :P
