(no subject)
everyone has been updating like crazy, so i figured i should too and not be shown up :)
my fam had to celebrate xmas the 21st in OH because of the whole "being at the gparents for xmas" thing. It was awesome...got a lot of stuff i wanted, including Memoirs of Geisha and Frank McCourt's 3rd book Teacher Man...i want to go to Ireland one day and see where he grew up and everything (he's the author of Angela's Ashes....wasn't that made into a movie?) I also got a straightener (AHHH I KNOW I CONVERTED!) among clothes, a cool chunky necklace with matching bracelet from Fish, and Joshua is going to take me out to dinner when we get back to college.
so let me see..i spent my week in OH shopping, making gifts, making my room look like a bomb went off in it, chasing the kitties, decorating our tree, checking the email 349720 times a day, and being lazy. The trip back to DE on the 23rd wasn't bad, cause it was MUCH more comfortable than the thanksgiving trip...and we brought the cats, who were NOT sedated. Joey was scared and slept in the (clean) litterbox for 8 hours, and Nala was surprisingly social and sat on my lap for a bit.
Then, we had xmas eve and xmas here at the gparents. it was good, seeing the family and stuff, and i got a digital camera!!! i have so many pictures and videos of my cousins and stuff, but i keep running out of batteries, or maybe the batteries are not good, i don't know. anyway, tomorrow i am going to my other gparents house for new yrs and then off to OH for the month.
it has been excellent seeing people, and finally taking cmc out for her bday dinner, despite some circumstances at Panera, and seeing the sisterhood (how i love thee), and the house (how i love thee as well). Had to bid dear Lynneth goodbye yesterday, which is always sad, but i know that we will keep in touch like we always do, and how am i supposed to hear about stories with Ryan if she's not up there making them??? hehe. And i better see sammyiknowyou before her Japan expedition, or there will be problems :)
so yea, today i am getting together with my friend Shannon, who i recently saw and haven't really kept in touch with through high school (we kinda saw eachother in middle school, but i have known her since 1st grade or something, and she was my Barbie buddy....omg we were Barbie extraordinnaires.....if anyone wanted to have a Barbie-off, they would have to watch out for us. hehehehehe.....how one would have a Barbie-off i am curious to know, so if you are well-informed in the ways of Barbie-offs, leave a comment.
then there' Cmc's white elephant, and then hanging with tab, keen, and TEEJ!!! i cannot wait!!

P.S. When i go back to OH, i am really bad about leaving my cell on...it's usually off, and my house has awful reception anyway, so if you wanna call, i can give you my house #...just leave your email :)
