Mami is a little out of breath as she turns the PCD back up to face her.]Sakura-san, Miki-san, Yuma-chan -- it looks like I've caught us a new pet ( Read more... )

... Yo, that's a cow!?

[That is, by far, the strangest looking cow he's ever seen. Well, that isn't a Noise]

It's - ah, blueberry, I think! The Elric brothers have a strawberry one, I believe.

[She is excited. Do you know what a cow might mean? Milk!]

[Momentarily distracted by the fact that Mami is cute when excited, Beat'll blink for a few seconds before getting back onto topic, grinning.]

Blueberry? Strawberry? Yo, firs' killer kitties an' now fruity cows? I can dig it.

[WHO WOULDN'T BE CHARMED BY THIS FACE.]

I'm hoping she'll give milk. That'd be great to have during the winter - I'm just worried about where to keep her.

[She fights back a squee- Girl loves her animals.]

[So instead she has a big grin on her face. The idea of milk, cheese, ice cream- this was awesome.]

Looks like it likes you.

Got any ideas on what to name it?

[Priorities.]

No idea yet!

[But Kyoko is smiling, and Mami can't help it - that makes her beam a little bit with pride.]

Something cute, don't you think? I bet she'll be sweet when we get her to calm down some.

I'm sure Yuma'd like to name it.

Pretty cute, yeah! [A greedy grin.] Hey, you better make some of that pie now, 'cause we have milk. There's no excuse.

We're still short on flour and sugar. But if you can find any of that...

A certain pesky frog has started his own little farm. You're welcome to leave it with him. He's kept them-- in a certain area inside, as far as the prince knows.

And how would I find this pesky frog?

Fran, I've only heard of one of those.

'shishishi, you're welcome to bring it to [x,y], too. He would be happy to add another to his farm, I'm sure.

Only if you're sure it wouldn't be an inconvenience.

[But she programs the coordinates into the PCD, turning and grabbing at a piece of the ribbon suspended from a tree. The cow's restraints disappear, save for a collar of ribbon around its neck, and Mami gives it a gentle tug.

She's going to walk the cow like a dog. :|]

A blueberry cow, too! I hear it means the milk will taste a little like blueberry!

[YUP. After that reaction? Mami seems pleased as hell with herself.]

Is Yuma-chan going to help me name it?

[OMG, she gets to name a blueberry cow? Today is the best day.]

Mm, Yuma will help name her!

Since she makes blueberry milk, maybe Aoi-chan?

That sounds good to me. We'll check with Sakura-san and Miki-san, too.

A little milk here and there will make some of the food here more palatable, I think.

Did you catch it or did the Animus assist you?

[She lifts an eyebrow at that, turning the PCD to face the cow, which is bound in ribbon and chain.]

I can assure you that none of that was the Animus's doing.
