DR AMOS COME HERE
Michelle,,,,poor baby has to go to the e.r. tonight. Clear at walter reed. The hospital here doesn't have a feeding tube and w.r. is checking right now to see if they do. Her second tube change today has proven to not work. It too doesn't work correctly. The ball that holds the water to keep it in her stomach refuses to keep the water.
Right now the poor kid is taped up. So mike and i looked at her other "emergency" equip. The trach taped to her bed in the sterilized bag still is exactly like the one that messed up on me the day she needed an emergency trach change. If she would have needed it the same thing would have happened becuase the guide doesn't go completely to the end of the trach tube to guide it in. Just like the other one. I almost cried when i saw that because it was the one i would have reached for in an emergency. The trach in her bag for rides actually is the only good one we have.
But now we wait until the hospital calls us back to tell us if we go there or call civilian hospitals........ a what a night.
