Thank you.

I save this part of the LJ fic thing (the responding to comments part) for last, when I'm working on something, because in so many ways for me it's the best part. That often means, though, that I'm rushed when I do it, because I spend the bigger part of my available free time writing and posting updates, which because I'm such a compulsive re-writer and tweaker can be a never-ending process. But believe me when I say that I really appreciate acknowledgements like this one, and everything you've done on the house-cuddy comm to encourage others to leave reviews for fic writers.

I have a bad feeling about Thanksgiving, lol. House is still walking that very fine line with his 'meetings' but at the same time, he's handling the domestics remarkably well, difficult as the situation may be.

April & Fizzou are an interesting pair; really entertaining.

House is stressed, Cuddy is stressed, and holidays are stressful. I don't think I can say anything more about where this story is going than that -- yet.

Thanks for reviewing.

As irritated/worried as I am regarding House (although I'm trying to take heart and trust you LOL), he's been really good with Rachel. We see she still calls him House, but I wonder if she considers him her dad? And since I'm a fan of the nicknames, I think it's cute Fizzou calls her Punk. The hints of his back-story are very interesting, although I don't think we've got much of a physical description (other than he's very strong). I've got a mental picture that he's very large, and April's very small, and they look a little like an odd couple. The Thanksgiving event (now with 100% more House, in House's house) should certainly be fascinating!

I always enjoy going back and reading past chapters, not just to see what tweaking you've done, but to read your responses to my fellow Shark-verse fans' questions/comments. My other question this week is: what does House or Fizzou have against North Carolina? :) I shall be heading that way for Thanksgiving, and wonder if I should be on the look out for something LOL.
Have a great

I haven't really decided what Fizzou's issue is with the great state of North Carolina is, yet, but I'm sure he has one, and it's not one that will impact any of my faithful readers.

Enjoy your holiday, and thanks for reviewing.

I love Fizzou's pragmatism. He and April are hilarious.

You are, of course, right about the stakes being much higher for Rachel than for anyone else, but I hasten to point out, reluctantly, that none of the adults in her life are particularly skilled at considering ANYONE's interests other than their own. Rachel is a (small) spitfire, as I have written her, and eventually will grow into a person capable of asserting her own needs, but right now the only thing she has to protect her from the rampant selfishness of the adults she depends on, is the fact that her needs frequently coincide with the needs of her caretakers.

And I didn't realize it when I was sketching him out, but Fizzou really is a sort of anti-House, in some ways -- although they do share a certain secretiveness and self-centeredness. Someday I'll have to examine what this writing says about me.

Thanks for reviewing.
