Hit the pier heads last night with the wind and the rain. Mud lying around the pier heads stunk up the pier fishing. Hit the other pier across the river and although it was much clearer, there still was no bait around.
So we hit the river. Some kings were around but none willing to bite. The snaggers were already out in full force
The most enjoyable part of the day was when we stopped at another river I didn't think would have kings in it for at least 2-3 weeks. Was I ever shocked when a king jumped near us. Altogather we seen about 5 kings but there was more to come according to a guide down river.
Man, this is going to be a great summer of salmon fishing
