You know what? I'm sick of conventional homes. Why does everyone want to live in a box that looks just like the box next door? mleh.
My dad designed our house and I'm glad, because it's not quite like any other house I've seen. It's not just another premade blueprint. It's split level, and not shaped like a rectangle or a T or a U, like most houses. Kinda hard to explain the shape really. The roof is crazy cool, with all kinds of weird angles and whatnot...due to the unusual shape of our house. Even my closet is not a typical rectangle. It's a nifty corner closet. So our house is not as ordinary as most...yet it's still a little more conventional than I'd prefer, I think.
Someday, I'm going to have a very unique house...perhaps something of my own design. Maybe it will consist of domes or something crazy like that. And it will be environmentally friendly and be as self-sufficient as I can afford to make it. Solar power, etc.
