Finally getting around to writing...
I finished planning for my gift!fic about, oh, two weeks ago? But the thing was, by that time I had run out of steam and didn't feel like the planning was done yet for me to start writing, so I practically forgot about it. Until Sunday, when I look at my calendar and realized I only have two weeks left to write, edit, and beta this stupid thing. I felt like I had a good amount of time, though, so I started. Now, I'm officially freaking out and considering requesting extra time. I don't know if I will need it yet. I decided to stay home from school tomorrow, mainly to write but I also have homework that could get done, so it'll be justified. After that is the weekend, so that's three whole days for me to write in. If I buckle down (by which I mean freak out sufficiently enough) I should have it finished on time. Should. I hope. I really, really hope. Why do I do this to myself?
