(no subject)
i feel much more relaxed after going to the chiropractor. i'm definetly deciding between getting my master's in english or getting certified for teaching. teaching gives me more options but getting my master's means better pay at a college level. i just want to teach, period. they both will be about the same length of time so i just am not quite sure yet. i know with my incorrect spelling and puncuation here may seem like i do not know a thing about going into english but that's me being casual and lazy. i actually love reading and writing papers. wow that sounded really cool.
i wish doctors gave out birth control like a flu shot. i get so freaked out if i don't take the pill daily at EXACTLY 6pm. but i don't trust the patch, and i think the nuvaring would be more of a pain in the ass anyway. taking a pill is very easy and it's not like i forget, but it's hard to take a pill at the same time everyday, especially when i am driving, or in class, etc. etc. would it affect things THAT much if i take it a little bit after 6pm? not like i'm all about not using a condom but well, i'm in a serious relationship so sometimes, i mean it wouldn't hurt. you know what i mean. but i just don't want to freak myself out either.
so all this talk with kevin and cara's wedding has made me realize that i am getting older, and that one day i'll be getting married! it's crazy! i've always had certain things about a wedding planned out in my head (ie: crimson bridesmaid dresses) but it just seems like so much work. i don't know how my cousin and wife did it without losing their minds. my only rules are: no strippers for the bachelor party unless it is a combined bachelor/bachlorette party (hey my future husband should not have the need to look at other girls naked), to get an 80's cover band for the reception, and for the ceremony to be short yet very traditional. i don't think the more expensive things are the better though. i'd rather have a $100 ring and save up to buy something fun like a pool, than a $10,000 ring that will break my finger in half. oh boy i'm rambling on silly things again.
i want to watch a movie tonight, then paint my nails and maybe go tanning. true, i have no money but i'll be getting the ebay check tomorrow so that's alright. i need to look nice for VA ad then the cruise- by the way the same cruise line had to go to canada instead of bermuda because of a hurricane! oh boy.... i should get going and see if guinness needs to stuff anymore food into his little body, bye xo.
