FASHION CRISIS!
So I just started working at my new company three weeks ago, and therefore am still figuring out what's acceptable and what's not in the new culture. Problem: Christmas party is rapidly approaching (it's a week from today), and I don't know what to wear.
It's a tiny company (as in, I am the fifth employee), and there's only one other woman, who's around 50. While I like her quite a bit, her style is, shall we say, somewhat matronly. I know that this party's pretty fancy (we're having dinner/drinks at the island mansion of my millionaire boss), but I'm not sure what I can get away with in terms of straplessness, cleavage-showing, and the like. I also have very little money. Boo.
Any suggestions?
