I'm taking my cue from Meagan on a otherwise run of the mill Friday and doing a Friday Five:
1. Which of your country's leaders (past or present) would you like to have a chance to sit down and talk to?
Hmm…you know, I might have to go with…heck I don’t know. I know he technically wasn’t a leader, but I’d love to go up to Christopher Columbus (the explorer, not the Harry Potter director J) and tell him he’s an idiot. I mean come on…we have a national holiday dedicated to a guy who got lost. Granted, I’m not complaining, I like having a three-day weekend in October. But it’s funny. He got lost. And I know they didn’t have GPS back then, they only had poorly drawn maps and stars, but I love to think that if it was a woman, she would have known instinctly that she wasn’t in India. Although probably not. But you never know.
2. What job would you never want to have to do?
Hmm…well I’m not a huge fan of blood or gruesome injuries, so I would definitely not want to be an ER trauma doctor.
3. How many kids do you have and what are their ages? If you don't have kids, do you think you want any down the road? If so, how many?
I don’t have any currently, and the jury’s still out on whether or not I want kids in the future. Not the near future, that’s for sure, I’m nowhere near ready for kids.
4. Do you have a "blankie" or a favorite stuffed animal? What is it/what does it look like?
Well I don’t have a blankie (I think I used to though), but I do have a teddy bear that I’ve had since I was about 4. I’ve never named it, although my mom swears its name is Beary. I’m also not sure if it’s a boy or a girl bear. But one eye is kind of cracked (it has glass eyes) and the fur is wearing thin. I do love my bear though and when the time comes to throw it out or get rid of it, I’m going to cry uncontrollably because yes, I still sleep with it.
5. What is your favorite flower?
I heart daisies and forget-me-nots. My absolute favorite though I think has to be dual-colored tulips. Sometimes I find these orange ones with yellow inside, or red with yellow inside, and I always get them when I do.
