I just realized it's been an entire year since I came back. It's probably not an anniversary I'd choose to celebrate, but I honestly didn't think I'd even be around to see it. I never really noticed how much I let that cloud hanging over me limit my life until it wasn't there anymore.

Anyway, how's everyone else doing? Getting settled in?

The lack of dirt floors is nice. As for the climb up--well, at least I'll keep in shape.

I guess it's just as well I couldn't save that piano. No way to get it up here.

I can see why it would be a challenge to climb up. I just fly up to mine.

Well, if you do ever find another piano, we can see about helping you move it in.

Watari liked the place, and I'm no good at refusing him. I'll get used to it. Hopefully I'll keep from falling out of the place.

If I find another, I'm inclined to fine a clearing somewhere to stash it. It was nice having it at hand, but it took up a lot of space.

Ky was the same way at first. But we settled it and moved in.

This may be odd of me to ask, but if you do find one, can you teach me to play?

It didn't take much arm-twisting on his part. And it is fun, in a way. Like having a tree fort.

Hm? If I find one, sure. I used to give lessons to help pay the bills when I was younger.

I've always wanted to learn, and now that I know that I do have some musical aptitude, I'd like to try an instrument.

It's a good one to start with. Can you read music? If not, that might be a good place to start--we don't even need the piano for that.

I'll see if I can put something together you could study from... things are a bit unorganized at the moment, but it shouldn't take me long to sort it all out.
